Which Catalyst drivers version is reliable?

Hello, can you please advise which version of Catalyst drivers is the most reliable within lets say last year? I recently updated to 11.6 and Age of Conan that I play started freezing up. I had Catalyst 10.4 before that (and I reverted back to it again) and the game does not freeze but I experience graphics flickering in some places etc, so it is also not perfect. I have tried to study on the internet which version of Catalyst might be the least prone to crashes etc. but it looks like every one of them has its issues so I am not sure. If you guys who play games, maybe Age of Conan as well, could recommend which recent Catalyst is the most stable I would appreciate it.

Video card is Radeon 5770 and the system is WinXP.
