Hey guys, my first topic here!:D


Which one is better?

MSI 6850 Cyclone Edition (has a memory bandwidth of 140gb)

Asus 560 GTX Non Ti (single fan and has memory bandwidth of 128gb)

One question, if card a has more mem. bandwidth and gpu clock than card 2, does that mean card 1 is better? or performance also depends on no. of stream processors, shader clocks.etc

Performance depends on architecture. AMD 7800 cards are stock clocked at 1Ghz and above, but they get demolished by 7900 cards which are stock clocked at 800MHz or 925MHz. Yes they also have less memory, but that isn't the point.

Memory size/bandwidth is directly comparable between all cards (assuming GDDR5), but core speed is NOT. And performance is more often based on core speed than on memory bandwidth.

@SkeL:: I had already checked those 2 links but was still confused, i thought msi overlocked one(r6850 cyclone) was better than asus gtx 560 non ti(single fan))

I will go with Asus.
