Hello all... Call me a newbie, but this is my first self-put-together PC. I just wanted to know what everyone suggested for vid card. My max price is just under $200. I was wondering what was suggested in this range: Radeon x600, Radeon 9800, GeForce FX 5900. Those are all @ 128 MB... Any suggestions would really help. Thanks!

9800Pro now, or wait for Nvidia's 6600GT card which is supposed to be $199 and a little faster than the 9800 series ATI cards.

I'd stick with the 9800 Pro. Currently you'll get the best bang for the buck.

**Edit** Kurt has the right idea and mebbe it'll be worth sticking it out for the 6600GT Nvidia card.

I see a lot of people throwing around some good pci-e cards as very good suggestions but the question is...is your pc going to be agp or pci-e based?
