Im getting a AMD 64 4000+ this weekend and I would like to be able to OC it to 3.0Ghz with water-cooling.

My question is: Which of the (2) 4000+ cores, the 90nm 1.35V San Diego or the 0.13µm 1.5V Clawhammer, are better for OC?

There is only $1 price difference, but I have a feeling the OC potential of one might be greater. Or perhaps not...please tell me.

Thanks for your input!
Happy OC'ing!!

90nm manufacturing process gives it more overclocking capacity, while using less energy, then the larger 130nm manufacturing process. Basically it's built more efficiently.

Great info people!

Thanks everyone for helping me get the right cpu for my new build.
I'll keep you updated. ;)
