It seems that every DVD burner sold nowadays is DL capable. That's great, but when is dual layer burning going to become affordable? The cheapest media (after a quick search...I'm sure you can find cheaper) that I could find was still around $1.50 a disk.
Is this just another one of those formats that will be forgotten about with the advent of HD-DVD or Blu-Ray drives? I seem to remember the Superdisk that was a marginally good idea, but just didn't take off. Will DL go the way of Betamax and Phillips 2000?
