I have a 5850, 965AMD CPU and 16 gig of ram on a M$N98TD EVP MB. I play only single player games and only one Vid card. 27in. ASUS monitor.
When is the time to upgrade? I have not played BF3 or COD yet but they don't seem to have any real need for an upgrade for my uses.
I really need to have an excuse, I have had the same video card for over three months and I am itching for the next, can;t pay for a high end 69xx or dual cards.
Anyone have an excuse that will pass my wife?
 
you shouldnt upgrade right now. when the next gen amds are out you can upgrade. 5850 is plenty for now
