I have an Antec P160 case. Obviously the amount of noise coming from it has a lot to do with the fans I have. The eVga 6800GT fan is by far the loudest. I put a fan controller on the back 120mm case fan and at 2/3 speed it's pretty quiet. But I'm wondering if there's cases that keep noise in better than this one.

So what's the quitest case? Anyone?

I believe its zalman that makes a 600$ case with heatpipes for CPU, HDD, GFX, etc that route heat to the sidepanels which are massive heatsinks.

well theres the zalman tnn 500a which would have to be the quietest :) but in the realm of decent priced cases steel cases are better than aluminum in terms of sound dampening. it also depends on what you want in it. the sonata does a decent job of sound dampening for something in the not so pricey range. lian li's v1000 is supposed to be pretty quiet but its kind of expensive
