Mozilla abandon the bookmark.html common format and move to that ?? people and place file. What's the very last ver. of firefox using bookmark.html? As I want to move to that ver.

thank you. I really don't know why firefox jump ship from a HTML bookmark format to their own format of that people/place junk

It's just an SQLite database, and it allows for much more powerful bookmark search and tracking; features like tagging and most visited.

If you want an HTML file, just export one.

Wow I did not even know they changed that.

I've still been backing up bookmarks.html What is the new file name?

<profile>/places.sqlite

I believe it also stores history.

Most visit doesn't interest. What does "tagging" do?
If you're not interested in the features, fine, but that's why it was done. Tagging lets you add tags to your bookmarks and then search by them or add dynamic folders.

I don't suppose you have the patience to also explain what on earth is Dynamic Folder?

I recall some1 told me his Mac uses Dynamic Folder. But I use PC
