Whats the difference ?

I just got myself a 24 inch Sync Master for Christmas. I am working on registering it with Samsung for support and such, and CANNOT find the dang thing on their product information area......My monitor is the: SyncMaster 2494 ... the only monitors avaliable to choose from(that I can find) are the 2494 SW and 2494 HM ..... is it one of those ??? or another one ?? It is 1080p for res, and has DVI-D and VGA inputs.

ps: i got lucky, NO DEAD PIXLES i love my syncmasters

It seems to be basically the same monitor technically, differences are inputs (HDMI) and styling (pivot, speakers etc).

Which one is it? Even if it only says 2494 on the bezel the full model name must be mentioned somewhere (manual?).

Since you said it has DVI and VGA (aka no HDMI), so I guess it's the 2494 SW.

k, must be the SW .... none of the documentations said either SW or HM ... now I know which one to put in the registering thanks for the speedy reply
