whats normal gpu temp over watertemp?

GPU temps under load can be 10-20 C above water temps, depending on the block and GPU.

What are your loop components? What is your card? How far have you overclocked it? What is your ambient temperatues? What paste / pads are you using? Be more specific.

Thanx for answer guys!

Im using this block from EK :
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-geforce/geforce-gtx-6x0-series/ek-fc680-gtx-nickel-plus.html

my roomtemp is about 23-25 C.

GPU is a GTX 680 with custom bios, overclocked to 1254 and 7200 on the memory.

I have tried many diferent amounts of paste. First pie, got HOT fast, then line, a little cooler but still hot, then cross and it got better again. Yesterday i tried a fat f**king cross and i got even better temps. But still get loadtemps over 50 degrees. I friend got the exact same setup only he got the GTX 690, and he loads at max 45 C after gaming BF 3 on ultra without vcsync.

Is the block faulty? or should i use even more paste? now i got LOTS!

Less paste is generally better... you want just enough to cover the die.

What planet are you writing this from, OP? 50C WC 100% load temps are not HIGH at all, and you need to consider that your friend has different variables affecting his temps. That is, unless he is running the exact same setup (hint: he's not) in the exact same room at the exact same time of day...

Not too high.. But kinda high... But after make any comparisson, case condition should be equal, type of radiator used, fans over radiator, amount of radiator, water pump and type of cooling fluid.... For 23-25 should be arround 40-45degrees but have to take into account all variables mentioned...

With a 22°C ambient, my different cards usually load from 35°C all the way up to about 50°C. This is with an EK Supremacy block.

whats cards you using?.. 50C its kinda high for WC'd cards.. o_O my both aircooled 660ti's ramp goes up to max 58C first - 54C second on a 23C room temp only during stress test or playing burning games like crysis 3. in other light games its like 45-42C
