Hi,
I have this six year old AMD 939 X2 system that I built but recently its been locking up randomly. The system will freeze and soft resets with no picture. Have to do a hard power down and power off to get it to boot again. Sometimes it will happen immediately after boot in either my Win7 or XP partitions. I've tried replacing the video adapter with out luck. Its an Asus A8R32-MVP motherboard. Might have for the last six months running it with a 10% auto overclock in the bios. Found a pdf virus little while ago but removed it and doubt thats the cause but who knows. Motherboard looks ok and capacitors look normal. Could be memory? Could be anything?
