What's going on with Samsung's 2TB HDD pricing (HD204UI)?

The 2tb Samsung F4 is now available @ newegg for the low price of $229.99 + $7.28 shipping. My server picked a wonderful time to have it's drive fail. The cheapest 500gb drive is over $100 after shipping at newegg.

What the hell Newegg?

Their prices are just crazy now, hardly ever any good deals.

I'm pissed because this really screwed up my NAS build. I should have just bought the drives last month. Dah well...on to look for used hard drives..

I decided to look up HDD prices for a back up drive and I saw the prices. Wow! talk about sticker shock. I thought these were like $69 less than a month ago. Now I'm seeing prices for 3 times that amount.

I have 8 of these in my HTPC. Great drives. I'm going to need about 1-2 more in a year, by then the price should have come down some or I'll look to Hitachi.
