I wanted to know if you guys think that my new laptop will perform at the level of my desktop, and about the deal itself.

This system screams with eveygame ive played, most recentally BattleField Vietnam.....Doom 3 should have no problems either.

Specifically...are the graphics card perfomance levels comparable?

i can play doom 3 on my 2.4ghz 512ddr radeon 9000 128mb at 800x600at med so you should have NO problems nice rigs man
