My setup is a ASUS Sabertooth X58, i7@4.2GHz, 24GB, Raid 0 SSD, 6950HD 2GB. WIN 8.1

I currently have 3 24 inch monitors so I run eyefinity at 5760X1200.

In eyefinity my system runs BF4 at about 30FPS and drops as low as 17ish in some scenarios.

If I run it on one monitor 1920X1200 my FPS shoots up to 70-90.

My question is - to get a FPS bump in eyefinity should I go for a second 6950 2GB card and Xfire them or should I just go for a new card all together?

I'm not looking to run the game on ultra everything. I run a mix of medium/high settings now.

I just want something that can get my FPS backup in eyefinity.

Any input appreciated.

Sell the 6950 and get a 290 (non-X). Big improvement. I bet it would be faster than dual 6950's.
Edit: Not to mention using a lot less power than two of those cards.

6950 Xfire gives the same performance as an overclocked 7950 at your resolution. So I would rather spend $200 on a 7950 rather than $100 on another 6950. Unfortunately , all the deals on 7950 are gone right now, so wait till black Friday.
