I'm currently contemplating an upgrade and I'm not sure if it'll be worth it.

Here's my current PC specs:

i7 970
6 GB RAM
128GB SSD
2 x GTX 460 768MB
1kw PSU

I'm contemplating going to SLI 560tis because I'm a cheap bastard and they can be had for about 115-130 each. Or is there a signgle card solution that would be much better for about 200-250? Or should I save up to dump the whole system and start fresh in about 5-6 months?

I have no burning desire to upgrade anything other than my video cards, and having to turn down options in Tomb Raider and FC3 at 1920x1200 is hurting my feelings. Whatever advice you got I will take into consideration. I'm going to stay green (for now) until I see a compelling enough reason to go red in the future. Thanks!

I've sold multiple 7850s and 7870s in the past... @ 150 and 175.

a 7870 @ 175 is probably your most future proof option. Its not that hard to find... the 7 series scales @ well over 90% for future upgrades...
