what would be better?

1gig running at about 166mhz or my 512mb at 200mhz in single channel?

Depends on what you need, speed or capacity, if your not going to do much gaming or use programs that require extra memory you are better off on a 512mb stick which will run faster but wont have as much space. If you will be gaming or using programs that require more ram than 1gig is what you need. Personaly I would go with the 1gig and I bet plenty of people will agree with me on this one...

well, i have two hyperx pc3500 modules (that suck ass) and one xms3000 module in dual channel at 180mhz... i guess it works ok..

edit... and dual channel on the nf2 is the biggest waste ever... heh

both woulld probaly run just about the same. 1g a little faster but 512 about the same. but ya go with the 1G

well, i havent really noticed much of an improvement.. ill attribute that to the fsb/memory bus though.. ohwell.

it is running at 11-2-2-2 though...
