I bought a new display with the assumption that I'd sold my old one, but the buyer backed out so I'm left with an extra 20 inch LCD. I also have a 17'' LCD that I'm not using at all.
As of now, I have NO desktop computers, just a Macbook Pro which only has one DVI out; which I'm using for the new display.
So, if you had a Dell 2005fpw, a Samsung 23'' LCD tv, a Dell e173fp and only one Macbook Pro, what would you do? I guess I could sell it, but it seems like a hassle, especially because I'm really not going to get more then maybe $300 when everything is said and done.
I do have a currently-in-pieces old desktop that I've considered building into a HD myth tv box, but it doesn't have a video card or a HD tuner (does have RAM, cpu, mobo, harddrive, case, psu ect) - if I got a video card that did HD and dvi out, I guess it could power the monitor and the TV.
Is that worth building or should I just buy a used satellite box for my TV?
