What to do with a old MacBook? (re-use wise)

I have a old late 2006 2.0 Core 2 Duo model Macbook in my closet, and then it came to me... I haven't used this in probably over 2 years or so... It needs a new inverter I believe, and the bezel is slightly cracked... I figure I would replace those and go from there. Otherwise, does anyone have any creative ideas on what to use it for?

Use it - there's no reason that system isn't still worthy of being used. The C2D is still plenty fast for 'average' use.

Get an adapter to hook that sucker up to a TV and you have a PLEX/XBMC media center that will run great. You don't even need to use the (probably small) internal storage, most media center hosts are decent at streaming entire libraries. BOOM.
