Okay, so I bought a Linksys Wireless G router, the WRT54G v2 right. So this sucker isn't working. The wired computers work fine, but the wireless don't work at all. Like, when I restarted the computer once the Linksys Wireless G PCI adapters where installed and it picked up the signal, but quickly lost it. I don't think there's too much interference, not enough to entirely block the signal though. It's going about 30-50ft in a straight line. I updated the firmware and the same thing happened, got the signal, but lost it almost immediately. Is there anything you might suggest doing? Returning the router for a new one, maybe the router is bad?

id return it..

if its too much hassle to set up first of all, you can bet ur ass it will break at somepoint through no fault of ur own and ull be pulling ur hair out again :)

is there anything in the way to interfere like

- wireless phones
- microwaves
- REALLY old computer monitors?

no no and no, don't worry about it anyway, I'm getting linksys help now, whatever that means
