Ok, my watercooling components are shipping soon...at least my D-Tek stuff shipped, still waiting on DD and SVC, but I got an Al 120mm fan and this fan grill (http://www.svc.com/54562.html) and i was wondering...what size (circular) drill fitting would I need? I was looking around on www.casemodgod.com and they showed a circular bit, could i get them and in the right size at home depot? or could they cut my case for me?

Thanks,

alex

well, ah...nvm...i guess i wasn't too clear...for the actual fan hole, not the screw holes....and one more question...what kind of screws do i need to mount a heatercore (on the hole)?

I used a 4.75 inch for mine, works great, but I dont have a grill.

4.75 inch lets the whole fan get over the hole, 4.5inch works perfect if you don't want a little gap showing(not noticeable if you have a fan grill).

I'd say 4.75 if you're gonna use a fan grill over it, 4.5 if not.

yeah, i have just a plain 'ole chrome fan grill that i'm using...so a 4.75" bit should work? and what do u mean by work...? will it fit the actual fan or will it fit the actual base (the square part) of the fan...and also, the same question...a) will my heatercore come with the necessary screws, and b) if it doesn't, what will i need to mount it on my case...i'm putting it on the top...my friend's grandpa has a metal cutting business...should i take it to him? or would it be just as easy to do it myself? i don't think he would charge me considering i'm his grandson's only best friend ;)...

thanks for all the help
