Ok guys, im in a predicament here. Right now i wanna buy a 6800GT. But my problem is i want to upgrade my cpu and mobo, and ram in the future. If i buy this, and i want to upgrade later, AGP will be obselete unless they make a PCI-express->AGP conversion device.

You might be right. Then again, I'm sure a third party manuf will come up with a board that has both agp8x and pci-x. Too big of a market to ignore.

well if i upgrade, im goin with the amd 64. But it wont be for bout 8 months or so. Im on EVGAs website should i order it or not? EVGA is in cali, so ill get it within a day or 2 of shipping. But then i pay sales tax. Ouch.
