What is it? Well I'm pretty sure it is a hot swap PS for a rackmount SUN system...but what can I do with it? Would it work well for a TEC/Peltier power supply? How do I read the specs? A range of voltage?

Actually, it's a 48V PSU for a Cajun switch.

Not something you could use in a PC application.

any idea what the 3 pins voltages are? I guess I could test them, but why are there 3 pins if there are only ground and 48 volt rails?

Don't know for sure. Whenever I needed a 48V PSU, I'd just buy a rail mount because they're much cheaper and more efficient. ;)

If I had to guess, I'd say 48V sense.
