In my search for a miniscule low profile htpc, I came across this. It's mini-itx sized, but apparently has enough kick to run full MCE, capture high def content, and handle all the other usual HTPC business. It also has DVI out (rare even on *huge* mATX boards) and an on-board tuner. The only issue - $1200. Buzzkill.

I have seen a few small outfits pushing similar units. Someone has to know who makes the parts for these. I'd love to put something similar together for myself, but I haven't seen a board or case like that available anywhere.

edit: DUH. AOpen MiniPC is obviously the basis. Is this product strictly an AOpen one?
