What is the difference between these two drives

[outspoken]

I just need a drive with USB 2.0. It's coming down to these two because: a) they are in stock locally, b) they are the right price and c) they are both portable 2.5" drives

WD BABV5000ABK - Western Digital 500GB Elements Portable USB 2.5" Hard Drive
WD BAAA5000ABK - Western Digital 500GB My Passport Essential Portable Hard Drive

So what is the difference, is one an older model or something?

ok, bought the passport. it had 2yr warranty and the element had 1.
