What is the difference between these 2 (need answer asap)

the first one is ATX 2.01 Compliant

second one is EPS12V 2.2 compliant/ATX12V 2.01 compatible

Yep. So for $10 more you get an 8-pin EPS cable and a different fan arrangement. :D

8-pin. Powers two CPU's on a server board.

Although DFI is starting to use them.

Essentially, twice the 12V leads to bring power to the CPU voltage regualtors on the motherboard.

Yeah... Go with the EPS version.

Jonny, Just wondering about your psu testing, where did you get that pwnsauce sunmoon and kill-a-watt?

It was retired from a PSU factory. :)

It had to be modded for dual 12V rails. The new ones do dual 12's by default. Also, it can only do 30A per rail. More than enough today... but it's only a matter of time before we have dual, or even three or four, 12V rails capable of > 720W!

So needless to say... my life expectancy as a power supply tester is limited. :D

Naw your going to win the lottery and buy a whole automated Chroma Rackmount just for fun

then looking back on this prediction buy your Uncle Ice Czar some old assed junk so you can laugh at him trying to program it :p

If I won the lottery, I'd actually come over to your place and help you set up. :D

OT: Did you know if you put $2 million in a Paypal account, you would make 80K a year in interest alone? I could live off that.
