What is JMicron 362 IDE Controller

at a guess, it's the controller for one of your HD ports on your motherboard.
if you want to find out exactly what it is, go into device manager, grab the vendor & device ID's and plug em in here;

For a while now, Intel chipsets have had no PATA (IDE) controllers for the older hard drives and cd/dvd drives. Motherboard manufacturers have been putting JMicron, Marvell, and Silicon Image controllers to replace this functionality. Disabling the controller will disable any drives you have connected to that controller. If you don't have anything on them, then you'll see no change in your system's behavior.
