I sell electronics at Costco and I'm usually knowledgeable enough to explain to a member what each feature does. We got some new HTIB sets that have High MAT as a feature. Now I have no clue what that is. If you all could be of assistance I'd be much obliged.
 
HighMAT essentially changes the way the file information on the CD is stored.
Instead of storing the information in each file there is now a single file that contains all that information.
One of the benefits is faster access times as well as enhanced compatibility between competing formats.
