What games support the widescreen monitors?

[Slick Tide]

Hope this post is in the right forum but anyway.

I have the bargain $396 Dell 2005FPW on the way and besides Half Life 2 what other games even support the widescreen format?

I've heard Far Cry and Doom 3 just stretch the screen.

Things you will need to adjust for perfect widescreen resolutions are:

Resolution

Aspect Ratio

Field Of View (FOV)

You want all three to match your monitor. That website even has an equation to calculate FOV.
