I used litecoin-qt to save my litecoins offline, I know i have multiple backups, but it's been months and I got distracted with life.

How the heck can I figure out where to look? I know they are on at least one of my thumb drives, or actually can I have backed them up multiple times? or do the old back ups not work.

I had a ton of them, and i backed up every single time, but I have no clue what to look for.

Thanks

Okay, I think I found it. But I don't know how to open it?

damn I feel stupid, probably because I am.

You need to use the litecoin qt software. If you already have it installed, backup the existing wallet.dat and replace it with the one you found. Then open Litecoin qt.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!

I had to copy the wallet.dat file, then paste it into "c:\users\user\appdata\roaming" for litecoin qt to see it. But finally got it figured out and got my litecoins back. Ugh I shoulda sold when they were close to 50, but oh well.

Looks like I will hold them and wait.

Glad you got it back :) Also I recommend encrypting if you have not, always a good thing
