I bought a LCD for my sister with the responce time listed as

Tr/Tf=15/35ms

...what's that supposed to mean? Is it 15 or 35ms?

Tf means Falling Time, Tr means Rising time. Rising time means how long it takes to turn on the pixel. Falling time means how long it takes for the pixel to switch between off and on.

I guess your response is around 35 ms, but I don't know how to calculate it.

Tr= Rise time
Tf= Fall time

Response time=Tr+Tf=15+35=50 mseg.

Too much... maybe I'm wrong.

yeah, I think it's the two added together that makes the total reponse time... I could be wrong though. It sounds like it's 50ms...

Well, you could always just give us the make and model of the LCD. I'm pretty sure someone can tell you the response.

It's the northgate 17" LCD, when I bought it I wasn't expecting much, but holy crap, I haven't seen a nicer display yet!
