What do you use for hardware monitoring?

I just built myself a new desktop (well, replaced the board & cpu at least) for the first time in almost 3 years... I was using Motherboard Monitor for tracking my temperatures and stuff because, well, despite being discontinued in 2004, it works on my PC-DL.

Anyhow... it's not going to work on this Core2 system, I'm sure. And the motherboard manufacturer didn't include any utilities with the motherboard. So, the question is, now that Motherboard Monitor is long gone, are there any applications that you all would recommend?

A digital multimeter, and calibrated thermal probes would be the best answer, but unfortunately I have only on of those, so it's Speedfan and Coretemp for me. Or it was.

Speedfan for the most part, but I'll break out the DMM if I'm suspicious. ;)
