What case for SLI?

Ok, here's the picture:

I currently have an Antec P180 with a Gigabyte EX58-Extreme and I have to put my 2 GTX285s side by side in the 2 PCI-E 16 slots because the bottom slot, the PCI-E 8 one is too close to the top of the PSU bay for a GTX to fit in there.

This means, thanks to them being right next to each other, and using stock cooling as I currently haven't the space for the Accelero 280s I'd like, that my temps easily hit 85+ in the cards.

This is not ideal.

I've looked into new cases and I'm really stumped, as the HAF 932, which was recommended to me in the video card forum on this board, also has its PSU in the same place as the P180 and therefore there is no space for a wide graphics card to occupy that last PCI-E 8 slot.

I got no replies when I asked about this in that board, so I thought I'd try the proper one :)

Any ideas - any other case recommendations to accommodate my SLI and Acceleros, or is there something I'm missing in the case of the HAF 932?

i take it the psu is on the bottom with that case? have you looked to find a case that the psu goes up top?
have you looked at any of the lian li cases to fit your needs?

Unfortunately according to that picture the 2 GTX cards are in the top 2 slots, like they currently are on mine, and there's almost no space between the PSU at the bottom there and the base of the motherboard.

So your cards, unless you're water cooling, must be running much the same temperature as mine are? If that's a pic of your rig, that is.

Or do I see it wrong?

Yeah, PSU at the top does seem to be the only possibility for now - I've had a tentative browse of Lian Li but nothing in depth yet.

There is enough room there for the 250mm fan in the front to push air across the case. Mine stay at good temps after hours of use. There is enough space for both cards to breath.

You're kinda wrong on the HAF 932. It is one of the few dual PSU chassis out there. It has a PSU mount on the top, all you have to do is take the mount off the bottom, remove the top fan and add the PSU to the top. Plus without the PSU on the bottom, you can mount two fans to blow air up on the GPU.

You're on an EX58-Extreme yeah?

I did forget about the 250MM fan on the side of that case.

On the strength of this thread, the HAF 932 is now ordered.

I will come back and abuse you all horribly with large sticks if it doesn't solve my problems.

If it does, I'll praise you all endlessly :)
