What are you mining with?

GTX580 270kh/s :(, not really a 24/7 enterprise, just a test and see

getting a 6950 soon

2x7970's and a 7770 that my coworker and I are sharing (midnight cron job swaps between our workers)

Looking to sell the 7970's but I'll happily mine until then

don't sell them! the 7970s/280s are probably the most hassle free :p my 7970 rig will mine for days without any intervention, where as my 290 rig will require a reboot now and then ^^

2 290X @ 888kh
2 7990V2 @ 1.3 each

all under water... going to be adding 2 more 290X soon to my main rig as soon as I get a new Asus P9X79 ws-e mobo and 4930K probably in about 2 weeks or so.

Forgot I got a 7790 in the family computer I got free from a LAN thats doing 248k

18x MSI TF3 7950's (@ 670kH ea)
1x Sapphire Vapor X 7970Ghz (~710-720kH)
3x Sapphire Dual-x 280x (~710-720kH)
1x Sapphire Vapor-x 280x (~710-720kH)

I just checked the memory on my r9 290's and I realized that the difference in performance is entirely due to what memory they have. The Elpida memory cards can only do 880 at 1000/1500. The Hynix memory ones can do 970 hash at 1110/1500, although two of them need mild overvolts to get there.

Pair of release day reference model Sapphire 7970s right now @1100/1500 doing 1.4+MH/s
Have a pair of Sapphire Tri-x OC 290Xs coming as well for another 2MH/s for a total of 3.4+MH/s

Mining DOGE at fast-pool.com the largest 0% fee pool in the network (registration is closed though).

2x sapphire 280x @ 760 kh/s each (1100 mhz core)
1x GTX 680 @ 320 kh/s

So 1.8 to 1.9 Mh/s :)

i have 5 rigs and one on the way. all in fractal XL cases. Ive decided the 270x are my favorite mining cards. so cool, so quiet, so hassle free. Im not doing any overclocking, when i was trying to tweak my rigs they were constantly crashing. I havent rebooted a single one of them in the past two weeks, thats the way i like it. I am very concerned about the 290s/290xs come summer time. they run around 80c in a 20F degree garage with 70% fan speed. no idea what im going to do when that garage is 80F+

2x 290x 1860kh
2x 290 1760kh
2x 270 900kh
5870,5830 685kh
6870,270x 750kh

My suggestion: Get rid of GUI miner, and start using CGWATCHER, close MSI afterburner and bump your intensity to 20 :p at those speeds 880-890kh should be what you get.

btw password doesn't matter, it will accept anything.

Psyside, are you located in Europe?

IF you are mining with a 290/290x that has Elpidia memory look here :
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12830.135

290/290x cards with Elpidia mem will generally get lower KH due to memory timing not being optimized (10-15%), this guy who did the same thing for 280s is fixing the issue but needs an Elpidia equipped card, I donated :p he's almost at the target.

FYI I Swapped out my 290s with 290xs (should have done the research first)

290s with hynix were hitting 960kh
290x with Elpidia is hitting 880kh, waiting on fix!

Interesting stuff. Hopefully he'll find a fix, it bugs the hell out of me to have Elpida 290s when there are "golden" Hynix cards out there.

OT: I run 9x 7970 and 3x 290 for 8.7 MH total. All are underclocked and undervolted (except memory) for maximum efficiency. I'm not chasing max hash rates, I've found cooler and stable wins in the end. My 290s are happy doing 800 at 911/1250 undervolted as far as the slider goes and pulling less than 150W from the GPU VRMs in GPU-z. (Input wattage a bit higher)

Its not that the memory chips are bad, just timings are not optimized.

Wanted to share my settings for 290X.

290x settings with Elpidia memory.... in afterburner set power to +50 , voltage to +31 , core to 938 , Memory to 1500 , and fan if you can @ 100% this should equal around 890kh/s

I am using Guiminer.

Thread concurrency @ 32,764 , worksize 512 , intensity 20 , vectors 1 , gpu threads 1

1. This is my efficient setup, i don't really care about 20kh/s + i also use this pc for web surfing, and light work, while keeping great temps, and relatively low fan settings - that's why i use 18, instead of 20, it ain't worth it.

2. Yes, from EU.

3. Vram is Hynix, hit ~ 1600mhz stable.

This are my current settings..

I get 830 at stock speeds. I dont understand why people stress GPU's even more by overclocking and getting a marginal boost in speed. Not worth it.

I bumped only the memory, because they are rated to 6000mhz/1500 i got Hynix, so its not oc actually, i use stock volts on Aux, and -25mV on core as you can see ;)
