Someone just asked me which was better prosavageddr or 3d rage pro 2x, and I've never heard of either of them. I guess they're pretty old does anyone know which is better?
 
i am guessing 3d rage pro 2x because i have never heard of the other one..
 
S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR, which is an integrated chip I believe

go with the Rage Pro (also has an integrated variety)

neither is a great solution for gaming though

Is that the ATI Rage PRO? I had an ATI Rage PRO on my old 450 Mhz P3. It was AGP 2x. God that card is bad. Like alot of the older ones, it doesn't have a HS/F. I guess the better of the two evils is the Rage Pro, but in reality they both suck. :( I bet they don't even make them, do they?
 
You'd be surprised. At Compusa you can still find Rages with 8 (looks like 0 in their font on the box :D ) MB of sdr. The saddest thing is that they're still $40 there too!!!

Mince was 8 MB too, what a coincidence. Who would buy a Rage Pro 8 Mb for $40 when you can buy a 64 MB Nvidia 4200 for the same cast? A poor fanATIc?
