• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

we demolished the old users online yesterday. Seems as though we almost doubled it from 4,000 to 7,000. Just thought I would share that if no one else noticed.

I think it would be called feedback. I was aware that the forums were a little cranky yesterday, but I never checked the logs to see what the traffic was. For the forums not to have crashed with that load speaks volumes. Thanks for the imput

Just to clear things up then...

we demolished the old users online yesterday.
What the hell does that mean. How does this relate to forum help or feedback?

What relation does this have to your first comment, and how does this relate to forum help or feedback?

Sorry, it's 7AM and I haven't slept yet.

its feedback.
Plus, its the most applicable portion of the forum for this sort of thing.

Since only Domo knows what he's talking about, I'll clear it up. At the bottom of the homepage for the forum, there's a little spot that says "Most users ever online was 7,034, Yesterday at 01:06 PM." The old "Most users ever online" was about 4K. This applies to feedback because Master_Pain is giving feedback..... he likes that the forum database can handle that kind of load and not crash.

K? :)

Exactly, thank you

Actually the database never sweated...we got bound up when the two dual opteron webservers got loaded. We were able to bring a third webserver online to ease the load and that got us back to running somewhat normally.
