Weirdness with 320x200 resolution

I'm not sure which forum I should have put this in but it seems like a video card thing. Whenever I play a game at 320x200, it only takes up the middle of the screen instead of the entire sceen. I don't know why. My video card is a GeForce 2 MX (or something). I don't know why it's like this. I don't have an LCD monitor.
 
:eek: It may be your monitor, some dont support that resolution and if they do not well.

I don't actually play my games at that res :p I was just testing something for Doom and it looked weird only taking up the middle of the screen.
