Weird Memory Issue.. any ideas?

Ok, here's the problem that I'm having.

I'm trying to setup a machine and it seems that regardless of what memory (or sizes) I put in it, it tests as bad with errors in memtest86. The errors always seem to be at the end of the chips, regardless of what size.. (eg with 64M chips, the errors are around the 62-63M mark, with 256M chips, they're around 253-255M).

I know that the board worked fine before I moved it to a new case, and I don't see how the move could have damaged it (the board looks physically fine).

Is there any way to determine positively whether or not the board is dead? (ie, could it be the processor or something as that's the only other 'new' component.. I've already switched power supplies with no effect..)
 
well, you can take out everyhting that isn't nessacary and test components one by one...

Have you tested the memory in other systems?
