I have a 5-6 year old 15" off brand monitor that I want to sell off since I recently received my BenQ FP241W

There's a weird problem with the monitor where the image shakes continuously, like vibrating when I used it as a secondary display with my laptop. There were no problems when I used it with my 360, so I thought it was my laptop that had the problem, but my FP241W didn't have any problems when using it with my laptop. All of these tests were done through VGA and with various different VGA cords, so none of the cords are faulty.
I don't really have a second computer that I can test the monitor with, so I'm not sure if it'll work if I sell it off to someone else. Anyone have any ideas to why this is happening?
