So I have been trying to overclock my 7950 and am running into a weird issue.

I can set the Core to 1047 Mhz from 900 without any problems. When I am trying to overclock the Memory it will artifact when on Youtube or Facebook. Couple other sites but mainly those two. Not during games though. I can put that Memory all the way to the edge at 1575 and can play games for hours on end without issue. I can run Heaven benchmark and Furmark without any issue. It's just artifacting on websites.

I have tried two different browsers, Chrome and Water Fox. same problem. When I put the card back to stock settings the browsers don't artifact.

Anyone offer any advice ?

Just had this issue a few days ago. For me it had to do with the changing of clock speeds...its not really artifacting.

Assuming youre using MSI Afterburner...when you enabled OCing in the config you typed in a "1". Typing in a "2" will disable something...cant remember what...i think it was a powersaving feature, but it prevents the clocks from going back and forth causing the "artifacting".

I've disabled hardware acceleration. I'll give it a couple days and see what happens. Thanks.

Just thought I would say it worked. Been symptom free since disabling hardware acceleration.
