I recently unplugged the power bar while my PC was on since then I'm having a weird issue among other (Ethernet port has stopped working and USB port are malfunctioning) :
There is some pixel mostly green and red flashing at the screen. At first I though it was a dead pixel but when I scroll the page vertically and horizontally the weird pixel will follow the image. They are always at the same place on an image regardless of it's position on the screen.

Have you ever seen this and do you think it is motherboard, GPU or LCD related
 
sounds like you corrupted something... some one else suggested this as a fix for another problem.. maybe it will work for you...

turn the system off unplug the psu from the wall.. flip the power switch on the psu.. let it sit for a couple hours.. completely drain all the power from the memory in the system.. then power it back up and see what happens..

like i said its a fix for a different problem but who knows maybe it will work..
 
It worked, I unplug the PSU for the night and now the Ethernet and USB port are working and no more flashing pixel.

cool good to see that worked.. now ill know for the future that it also fixes that problem..
