Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I had this error pop up today in the log
[13:31:23] Completed 465000 out of 500000 steps (93)
[13:34:51] CoreStatus = 1 (1)
[13:34:51] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0x1
[13:34:51] Deleting current work unit & continuing...
If it's OC'd, it could be a stability issue where a number was mis-calculated. Even if you believe its stable, it may not be after being on for an extended period of time or such. I suggest running prime95 for a good long while to test for stability.
yea im albe to run orthos on both cores for quite a long time last time i ran it was for 48hours.
but today i also got the same error on a different box that everything is on stock settings.
good thing is it errored out about 2% into the WU .i copied the error but its at work. ill try to paste it in here if i can later on
any new patches/updates perhaps that you've installed? It seems very random, and some of the same proteins are running on boxes here with no problems. You installed IE7 or something perhaps?
