Weird ATI 9800 issue

My computer will run just fine for a few minutes........and then the screen will flash black, then a lot of garbled colors.........then the screen will come back but if i scroll on a webpage it's VERY slow to refersh. other than that everything seems to be fine. REboot, process repeats.
 
I'll give that a shot, I've also moved the CPU back from 2400 to stock at 2000 just to see if the behavior repeats. Thanks for the suggestion.
 
Format and start all over before you rip the card out and smash it to pieces. (I should take my own advice occasionally :eek: )
