WEI with Win 7 Drivers

My new DAW system:

OS: Windows 7 64 Ultimate
CPU: Intel i860
RAM: g.skill DDR3 2 x 2GB 1600
MOBO: EVGA P55 LE
GPU: HIS iSilence 4670
PSU: Nexus Value 430
Case: Antec Solo (modded for silence)
Sound Card: m-audio Delta 1010LT
Monitor: HP LP2465
SSD: OCZ Vertex Turbo 60GB/WD Scorpio Blue 500GB

When I first installed Win 7 (using the HDD as the primary drive - don't ask), I ran WEI and got 6.7 video scores. Downloaded the ATI drivers, switched to the SSD, ran WEI again, video scores dropped to 5.9. Are the Win 7 drivers that much better?

The ATI drivers allow the card to run at a lower clock speed when not using it's full 3D abilities. This causes your WEI to be much lower. It's a power saving feature. Don't worry about it. Run a real benchmark on it.
