I upgraded the RAM in both of my hosts and upgraded both of them to ESXi 5.0 along with vCenter Server 5 and the web client.

I also have the parts coming in for a new NAS. No more of this ZFS all in one setup.:D

I did a P2V or actually a V2V conversion of my vCenter running in VirtualBox and put it on the local datastore and i now have it startup automatically with the host. Very convenient!
 
Looks like fun! Server & VM stuff is always exciting.
 
I have one old server running esxi 5. Looks pretty nice so far. We are still debating on if / when we want to upgrade our 3 production boxes to 5. Other than keeping up with the latest released and the removal of the 2 tb data store limit we really don't gain anything..

Yeah, aside from the web client that i will not use I don't have much use for vSphere 5. I have noticed that the vCenter Server or the Client software is a lot more snappier and responsive though. I am not sure if that is just my hardware or other people have seen this improvement.

At my work my boss was all excited about being able to have more than 2TB on the datastore but we don't even use remotely that much lol the same goes for my home lab.
