When I originally purchased my PC, I bought an Allied 420w PSU. Well it seems that the PSU can't handle my current setup. It currently reboots randomly... Im talking REALLY random, I would be just be surfing the web and it would just reboot... Is this a sign that the PSU isn't strong enough or could it be something else? If it is, would the Sparkle 530w help alot? Im also thinking of upgrading to an AMD FX-53 in the future...

My current setup...

AMD64 3200+ (ClawHammer)
Biostar K8VHApro MB
1GB DDR400
6800GT (420/1100)
5xHD's
1xDVD+R/RW

Yes, I would think that the Allied 420W would be quite strained on your system. Time for an upgrade :)

Not strained... it's just not delivering clean power to the rest of the system. That Sparkle 530W PSU will help a lot.

Has anyone ever ordered a refurbished item from Newegg? Im thinking of ordering a refurbished Sparkle 530w from them since its about $20 cheaper...
