I accidentally put my comp in standby

I tried turnin it on but it jus kept beeping because the pump isn't spinning.

I pulled off the power off of the mobo and i grounded it to a piece of metal and i tapped the metal case to turn on the comp. Everything turns on but the pump doesn't go. Does that mean the pump is fcuked?
