watercooling shuttle

Like those need free 5 1/4 abouve and under it to cool proper and even then their preformance aint that spectacular. They doo not preforme better then ICE from Shuttle.

Though it's posible to build more effective stup for shuttle. Like Black ICE Micro (for 80 mili fan) then DD 12V pump and Koolance waterblocks will doo the trick. Just gett 200watt CPU block for PIV it will fit in almost every G chassis Shuttle XPC (even AMD mainboards use PIV retension bracket to mount ICE on it) Also koolance waterblocks for grafic cards fits in Shuttle.

People use also external boxes with radiators and pumps like Exos and Exos II) though it ruins SFF format IMO.

Even internal WC setup like one I've recomended makes XPC more fragile and needs more maintenance then ICE cooled Shuttle.

If You want You can tweak G chassis cooling. Find here my post over cooling a G chassis.
P chassis XPC run pretty cool hence I don't realy see such a need to use WC with it.

IDK How you would stick a rad in the P chasis since it's layout puts the 80mm fan in the PSU
 
the only problem is you lose the CD Drive...

It's possible, get that very small swiftech pump, and mount it inside, Get a 80MM rad, and put it on the back

With minimal mod work, it can be don, and look nice,
 
If it's not going to be better than air... I dunno, dworley's might do it (very professional looking ;) ), but you're mounting alot of stuff externally. Probably have an easier time with a mATX case.
 
He dworly, how good does that cool? Thats actually not a bad idea... I could get like, an external CD Drive, and yet still have quite watercooling (Once I get a shuttle of course)
 
The flow rate is not significant, however it does a very good job cooling. The greatest benefit was being able to water cool the 6800GT to get a huge overclock - it is capable of running 436/1250 for benchmarks but I run it at 420/1200 for gaming and it stays relatively cool under load (less than 65C) and idles around 48C.

My secondary goal was to silence the PC as much as possible which was achieved!
 
If you look closely at the first pic, you'll see that the ICE has been removed and that there is a water block on the CPU.

Kingwin's site lists two radiators and both a cpu block and a vga block:

Looks like a nice kit to me. I think I want one. Is there any way to get the 2nd radiator and fan inside the case?

Makes Alcohol 120% and a big drive that much more handy. Just rip all of your games and only plug in an optical drive when you need it.

Tempting... tempting.
