Watercooling/Case

In my next system, I'm wanting to put in a badass watercooling setup. The only thing that I am wondering about is the case. Are there some cases that are better than others when doing watercooling, as far as space and whatnot? And if so which one do you guys consider to be the best.

Thank all.

The Cooler Master Stacker, Lian Li 'V' series, and Silverstone TJ06 cases are all good cases for wc setups.

I personally have the Silverstone and love it. Lots of room and I love the BTX style layout.

My vote is with the stacker. You can mount a 2x120mm radiator in the front without cutting anything and theres airflow/vents all over the shop which is good for overclockin + extra rads :). But yer, the silverstone and lian-li cases are also very good but i personally like solid steel (I.E the stacker)

It also depends on how much you're cramming in to the case and if you're willing to modify the case. My Antec 1040B II is perfect for my setup (BlackIce XtremeII, 3 blocks, res, AQX 50Z) though it is a tight fit. The end result is damn near perfect. I had to take out all the 3 1/2" racks though, so all my drives are up in the 5 1/4" bay. It did make me come up with a creative way to mount the hard drive. Good luck with whatever case you choose.

Here's a link to antec's page about the 1040:

I got my dual watercooled Xeon with 120mm radiator, res, GPU and 2x CPU coolers into a V1000 fairly easily
