Watercooling advice please.

I have decided to wc my current sstem and keep the loop when I upgrade. I figure if I do it right, only the mobo waterblock will need to be changed when I upgrade. Currently I am running an i7 950 on a rampage 3 extreme board and will have sli gtx 970s in a corsair 800d case. I am thinking I will need a single black ice Nemesis 360 and two black ice 140 radiators. The loop would go from 360 Rad to mobo then to cpu. From the CPU it would go to a 140 Rad on back of case then to gpu's. From going it would go to bottom 140 Rad then to pump and resevior. Will this be a good enough setup without having to mod the case too much? My tdp estimation before mobo is 450 Watts. Not sure what the mobo is. Fans I will using are corsair sp120 led.

Seems overkill for cooling 450watts. A thick 360 would suffice with a 140 rad adding room to spare.
If you upgrade your TDP will even be lower.
I wouldn't use the Corsair fan's, I had 2 and gave them away because they were so loud. My standard Fractal design's have the same noise level at 200rpm higher and the Alphacool fans that came with my loop have the same sound at 1300rpm as the corsairs at 800rpm. (to my ear in therms of annoyingness and such)

More rad is generally always more better. If your case or setup has room for more rads, put them in. They're relatively inexpensive and will keep things running cooler than without them.

Loop order really doesn't matter. It takes multiple passes through the radiator to make any kind of tangible difference in temperatures. Make the loop however is easiest for you.

As said, loop order does not matter. The order should be done in such a way as to have as little tubing as possible.

You don't need two additional 140 radiators to accomplish what you want to do, but they would be nice to have.

Motherboard waterblocks are generally unnecessary. Keep in mind that unless you get a universal GPU block with those stick on heatsinks, you would need to change GPU blocks with each GPU upgrade.

I would skip the motherboard waterblock unless you can get one real cheap. They don't make a whole lot of difference.

Corsair SP120 fans are fine. They have a fairly good noise profile without too many aberrations. They aren't the best (Gentle Typhoon) but they are certainly a good fan.

I agree with jedimasterben, use as much radiator space as you want. A 360 alone will cool adequately, it won't be the best but it will certainly handle your CPU and SLI GPU's just fine. The more radiator surface area you add, the better your performance will be. Also, the order of components does not matter, route it in the way that makes it look the nicest / has the shortest tubing runs. Only thing you want is the reservoir right before the pump, and physically higher. This will make filling and bleeding the loop much easier.

EDIT: Damnit Tsumi said pretty exactly what I did but 1 minute faster lol.
