The o-rings were the ones that come on the Danger Den Hi-Flow fittings. Now i will be taking off the o-rings and putting plumbers tape on them, so I can tighten them up well.

good news!! i finally got all my watercooling parts back in and my comp runs great!!!

bad news: my resevior seems to be leaking, so i have to drain everything, and replace it.. sigh, just when i thought that this whole mess was over.
 
yeah.. luckily its leaking soo slow that i can afford to keep my system running, and i can wait it out until my new resevoir gets here. I just bought the Thermaltake AquaBay M3 @ sharkacomputers.com.. should get here on wednesday, i think my comp will be fine in the mean time, since its leaking soo slowly.
 
I used to work in TV repair. When customers would spill soda on the TV, we would run the ciruit board through the dishwasher rinse cycle, air dry for about a week and reinstall. Soda contains acid that eats the trace on boards. Usually that would do the trick.

So much for the bastard NPS with an O-ring threads. Do yourself a big favor and get a reservoir that uses BSPP fittings. They don't leak and they are easy to disassemble. Also they don't need pipe goop. ;)
 
did you accidently shoot your computer with a shotgun? I have never heard of so many leaks!

Somebody get this guy some plyers ;)
 
Well, DangerDen is crosshipping the new resevoir to me now, but the problem is, if you overtighten the fittings on the resevoir, it causes it to crack, so i will seal it shut with silicon this time. And I highly dont reccommend getting anything for watercooling from thermaltake. The second that aquabay M3 showed up, I saw what a piece of crap it was and now im in the process sending it back.
